Thursday, April 9, Poetry at the Grange with Music! Two Troubadours in Mud Time
6:30- 8 pm at Charlotte Senior Center
Come join Cyrus Cook and Nick Carter for a special program of poetry and music by New England-based artists. We’ll be dwelling on that seemingly interminable time of year in northern New England, the less-than- affectionately-called, Mud Season. The program includes poetry of Robert Frost, music by Cheryl Wheeler and works of numerous other poets and songwriters whose imprint on their craft endures. Join us for a wide-ranging review of words and songs, looking forward to Spring’s triumph over Winter! This program will not include time for the audience to offer their poetry – but there will be plenty of time during our May Open Mic!
Please RSVP: abigailkilley@me.com Hosted by the Charlotte Grange and Charlotte Library
